Mermaid's Collection - a Bead Embroidered Pendant

What interesting items found on the sea floor might a mermaid choose to collect?  MAKU's other-worldly Raku focal sets the underwater tone for this odyssey.  Step by step build a raised bead embroidery mermaid's tail, not forgetting the Fin Bracelet (mermaids don't have ankles).  Add a collection of shells in various shapes, sizes, and forms to soften and balance the piece.  Bring along any small found objects you might like to include.   Channel your inner mermaid and escape to the seas, if only in our mind's eye.  The pendant size is ~4.5" (w) x 3.5" (h).

Skill Level: Intermediate 

Techniques: Raised bead embroidery, brick-stitch edging, and internal construction.

Prerequisites:   Some bead embroidery experience is helpful.

The kit is mandatory and sold separately from the instructor.  $105, 

To attend this event, you will need either a desktop, laptop, or tablet along with the Zoom Application which can easily be downloaded for either Windows, Apple, or Android devices, and a good internet connection.  After registering and paying for your class, you will be sent a link to the online class the week of the workshop.
