Stars & Flowers

These fun components use CRAW to build up 3-Dimensional shapes. By making some very small tweaks you can turn them into either stars or flowers, and create some stunning jewelry designs. We’ll use 2mm glass beads on the edges to add interest and dimension. The fun thing about these is that you can easily scale up the pieces using larger beads! Opt for bright rainbow hues or subtler tones and play with color to really make the design your own. 

The components make pretty earrings or pendants or can be combined together for necklaces or bracelets! The combinations are endless! 

Techniques: CRAW

Skill level: This class is suitable for advanced beaders, some experience of CRAW is a must.

Materials: 

Star

• Approximately. 2g x size 11 Miyuki seed beads
• 30 x 2mm round glass beads or druks (please note Czech pearls do not work very well for this design as they are too fragile for the multiple thread passes)

Flower

• Approximately. 2g x size 11 Miyuki seed beads
• 40 x 2mm round glass beads or druks instead of 30

Kits are NOT available - Supplies required are listed above.

To attend this event, you will need a laptop or tablet along with the Zoom Application which can easily be downloaded for either Windows, Apple, or Android devices, and an internet connection.  After registering and paying for your class, you will be sent a link to the class the week of the workshop.

Class space is confirmed upon receipt of payment. There are no class refunds unless the class is canceled by SocialBeadia.  If you need to cancel, you may transfer your spot to another student, or you will receive all instructional materials and the option to purchase a kit if available.
