About the Event
Yoake Bottles
Create a self-supporting beaded bottle with a separate lid inspired by perfume bottles. This project uses peyote stitch to construct a rounded rectangle-shaped structure with a clever decreasing technique to finish the top and create the bottle’s neck. We will complete the ornament with a removable lid and add decoration with a bezelled cabochon.
Techniques: Peyote
Skill level: Advanced. Experience of peyote in the round required.
Materials: Miyuki beads in sizes 8, 11, and 15, 16 or 18mm cabochon and 3mm pearls.
