Enjoy magnificent ocean views from your room or private deck in our Victorian Inn, Beachmere South, and Beachmere West buildings at this nonsmoking property (for all rooms and decks). We offer direct access onto the scenic 1 1/4 mile Marginal Way ocean footpath from our lawn. During the summer, sit on our own little sandy/rocky beach as well as our expansive green lawn on which to enjoy outdoor activities or take in the sun & surf. As we are a short 10 to 15-minute walk to Perkins Cove or the center of Ogunquit you can park your car and forget it during your stay with us! 

 

Free High-Speed Wireless Internet is offered at all of our locations. Some rooms offer gas or wood-burning fireplaces.  For those staying longer, you’ll find our kitchenettes in all rooms (small fridge, cooktop, dishware, microwave and sink, toaster, coffee maker, and all cooking implements) will make your stay more enjoyable with in-room dining options. Air conditioning in all rooms as well as daily housekeeping service for all locations (including Hearthstone House). We offer a complimentary continental breakfast served each morning. Cable TV, DVDs & VCRs are in all rooms and a free lending library is available for movies, just ask the front desk.

 

Enjoy the spa level in Beachmere West with a hot tub, sauna, massage rooms, and exercise room! Seasonal, on-site laundry room available in the Victorian Building.  Please note that some of the spa facilities such as the hot tub may or may not be open depending on Covid restrictions at the time of the event.

The Beachmere has complimentary parking, however, space is limited to 1 vehicle per room.  For those guests that are sharing a room, please plan accordingly.

Due to  Covid 19, The Beachmere has had to end its complimentary breakfast buffet.  They now welcome in-house guests as well as the public to enjoy delectable offerings and beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean, with indoor and outdoor seating, or order and take back to your room to dine on your deck.  Remember that each room has a kitchenette so if you prefer a less expensive breakfast option, you can stock up on your favorite breakfast items.

$190 per night + $5 daily housekeeping fee + 9% Maine Lodging Tax

 

All rooms are in The Victorian, Beachmere South, and Beachmere West.  We're sorry but the Bullfrog Cottage is no longer a Beachmere property.

All but 2 rooms in the Inn have an ocean view.  Some rooms will accommodate up to 4 people for those that wish to share expenses.  All guest rooms are equipped with a kitchenette, robes, TV, A/C, wireless internet, telephone, and balcony or terrace.

Please call the hotel at 1-800-336-3983 to book a room. Please let them know you are attending the SocialBeadia Coastal Maine Bead Retreat as we have a block of rooms reserved and the remaining rooms may show as not available if you attempt to reserve outside the group.  This is a highly desired boutique Inn.  The Inn can only hold the block of rooms until the end of November.  After that, they will be released to the public.  I highly recommend that you reserve the hotel room early for the best room availability, especially if you are planning on sharing a room with a fellow beader and need more than one bed.  Each of the rooms are configured differently and you can view the room interiors and the view on their website www.beachmereinn.com.  The hotel does require a deposit to hold your room, however, will refund the deposit minus the $50 cancellation fee if you cancel within 31 days prior to the event.

Driving Directions to The Beachmere Inn, Ogunquit Maine – 

Heading North: Take the York/Ogunquit exit (Exit 4) off Interstate 95. Take Route 1 north 7 miles into Ogunquit. Pass the Ogunquit Playhouse on the right. Take your next right onto Bourne Lane. At the end, take a left onto Shore Road. Take your 2nd right onto Beachmere Place, a small residential road. Continue to the end, park in our main lot on the right.

 

Heading South: Take the Sanford/Wells exit (Exit ) off Interstate 95. Turn Left onto Route 109 East and follow to Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1 South. Go 5 miles to the center of Ogunquit and turn left onto Shore Road. At 3/10 mile turn left onto Beachmere Lane (see our sign on shore Road just after The Anchorage) and go to the end of the road. The office is straight ahead.

 

80 minutes from Boston and Logan Airport. 30 minutes from the Portland Jetport.  If you fly into Portland Jetport you can take a taxi to the Amtrak station approximately 3 miles from the airport and ride the Downeaster Train from Portland to Wells ($11 each way). Taxi's are available from Amtrak station in Wells to the Beachmere Inn.

 

ARRIVING BY AIR

 

There are three airports you can choose from.  Portland, Maine (PWM), Boston Logan (BOS) and Manchester Boston Regional Airport (MHT)    Note:  Where a taxi is indicated, the cost could be less if you contract with a car service such as UBER or LYFT.

• BOS - Boston Logan International Airport

  • Car Rental - This is the quickest and most direct way to get from BOS to the Beachmere and very cost-effective especially if you are traveling with a companion.

  • C& J Bus  www.ridecj.com  - They will pick you up outside the baggage claim of BOS and can get you as far as Portsmouth, NH.  You must purchase tickets online prior to boarding the bus at Logan.  From their Portsmouth, NH terminal, you will need to take either a taxi, UBER, or LYFT to the Beachmere.​

  • Downeaster Amtrak train 

    • Taxi from Logan to BON (Boston North Station) - approximately 6 min

    • Downeaster to Wells, ME - 1 hr 48 min

    • Taxi - Wells, Me to Beachmere Inn - just a few minutes
