Supply lists and kit information will be sent to registered attendees. You'll have the option of buying a class project kit from the instructor or providing your own materials for the workshop.

Maine Squeeze

Prerequisites - Comfortable with Right Angle Weave

           

Is it beads, is it yarn, is it a man?   I spend time squeezing all three. Your Maine Squeeze can be whatever you want or are in the mood for at the moment. This one happens to be a sparkling layered RAW bracelet worked in a unique way.  Metal seed beads, Swarovski pearls and bicones are always squeezable.  Designed exclusively for the 2020 Coastal Maine Bead Retreat

X's and O's Necklace

Prerequisites - Ndebele Stitch, Peyote Stitch

Right Angle Weave

          

X’s and O’s Necklace features 3 different bezeling techniques using square and round flat backs. This necklace is reversible. There is a direct attachment for the chain as well as a bail technique (not pictured). Color possibilities are endless. Stitches include Peyote, variations of Ndebele and Right Angle Weave. There will be at least 5 color ways.

3 hour class - intermediate/Advanced

Prerequisite: must be comfortable using small beads and know Peyote and Brick Stitch (Brick Stitch can be taught in class if not known)

 Thursday Afternoon 2-5pm

This ornate and striking necklace begins with bezelled chatons which are turned into extra sparkly beaded bead pendants (with optional extra dagger drops). The pendants are interchangeable and strung onto a coordinating rope and beaded clasp to ensure they sit beautifully when worn

3 hour class - intermediate

Prerequisite: working knowledge of Peyote stitch

 Friday evening 7-10pm

Palais Earrings feature Swarovski fancy pear shaped stones entrapped in Japanese seed beads with crystal embellishments. Peyote and right angle weave are used in the construction of these stunning earrings. Wear them dressy or casual.
