River Rose - Lily & Genie

Lilly and the Genie’s Bottle Class By River Rose -  Saturday, January 14 and 21, 2023 Zoom Class 

This class is two 3-hour sessions From 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time Lilly and Genie - a fairy jar and a genie bottle - a sort of two for one. Two variations of basically the same vessel. Just like all of River’s beaded vessels, these two lovely sisters are done in tubular herringbone stitch. Students will learn or utilize two ways to increase and two ways to decrease as a means of manifesting these lovely shapes, each with a removable stopper top. 

Techniques: Students need to have a working knowledge of needle and thread beading and experience with one or more techniques such as peyote stitch, brick stitch, RAW, CRAW, and so on. The way herringbone stitch vessel making is presented in this class is to begin the herringbone stitch from a ladder foundation.

Skill Level: This is an intermediate-level class. 

Supply lists will be provided.  Kits are not being offered.

To attend this event, you will need either a laptop or tablet along with the Zoom Application which can easily be downloaded for either Windows, Apple, or Android devices, and an internet connection.  After registering and paying for your class, you will be sent a link to the class the week of the workshop.

Class space is confirmed upon receipt of payment.
