Apollinariya Koprivnik
Specialty - Bead Weaving, Bead Embroidery
Apollinariya Koprivnik is a Slovenian-based jewelry designer whose artistic journey began in 2011 as a self-taught beader. Although she earned a master’s degree in architecture, she ultimately followed her creative passion into the intricate world of glass beads and crystals.
In her early work, Apollinariya focused exclusively on bead embroidery. Over time, she found inspiration in Swarovski crystals and semiprecious stones, which led her to expand her techniques. Since 2013, she has been creating with a dynamic blend of embroidery and bead weaving, thoughtfully combining Swarovski elements with a wide variety of unique and unconventional materials in her ongoing pursuit of innovation.
In January 2014, she began sharing her expertise through original beading instructions and tutorials. She refers to her distinctive style as “Beaded Architecture,” a reflection of her background and the complex, multilayered structures that define her designs.
Her work has been featured in several international publications, including Perlen Poesie (Germany), Make & Sell Jewellery (UK), and Bead & Jewellery (UK), among others. Apollinariya teaches workshops across Europe and the United States and continues to refine her craft by participating in international beading competitions. These include events organized by Swarovski Russia, Fire Mountain Gems, and The Beadsmith. She has also been invited to serve as a judge in international beading contests for the official Swarovski retailer Greenbird.ru.
