Iryna Shlapakova
Specialty - Bead Embroidery
Iryna Shlapakova is a self-taught bead artist and operating room nurse who discovered her passion for jewelry making in 2013. Through curiosity, experimentation, and focused practice, she developed a distinctive style that brings together diverse beads, materials, and techniques.
Her artistry has earned recognition in prestigious competitions, including Bead Dreams and the Fire Mountain Swarovski contest, and her work has been featured in GMARO, Bead & Button, Beadwork, and Beads & Beyond.
Because Iryna remembers what it felt like to be a beginner, she understands how intimidating it can be to try something new. That experience shapes how she teaches today—with patience, encouragement, and clear, step-by-step guidance that makes even intricate designs feel approachable.
Above all, Iryna wants beaders to feel confident in their creativity, enjoy the journey, and discover the joy of bringing something beautiful to life—one bead at a time.
