Nicki Russo

Specialty - Bead Weaving, Bead Embroidery

Raised in southern New Jersey, Nicki Russo grew up in a home where creativity was part of everyday life. With talented, crafty parents encouraging exploration, her childhood was filled with hands-on projects and a love for all kinds of handicrafts.

In the mid-1990s, Nicki rekindled her passion for jewelry making through bead stringing and wirework. That creative journey quickly expanded into bead weaving and bead embroidery. After years of traveling across the country to learn from master artists at workshops and retreats, she began creating her own distinctive original designs.

Nicki went on to teach at local bead shops, sharing her enthusiasm for beading and encouraging others to discover their own creative potential. A former Co-President of the South Jersey Bead Society, she now teaches both in person and through Zoom classes from her home in Gandys Beach, where she lives with her tiny Yorkie companion, Abbey.
