Anna Lisztes
Specialty - Bead Weaving, Bead Embroidery
Anna Lisztes (Hatvani) is a Hungarian bead artist, designer, and international instructor, renowned for intricate bead embroidery that blends traditional techniques with innovative bead weaving.
Born in Budapest, Anna discovered her love of jewelry-making at age five. Although she initially pursued a career in law and later worked in management consulting, human resources, organizational development, and lean management, her passion for creativity never faded. After the birth of her first son, she returned to jewelry design and found her artistic home in bead embroidery.
What began as a hobby quickly grew into an international business. Through her brand, Precious Heart Beads, Anna creates original tutorials, kits, and finished jewelry for bead artists worldwide. Her work has appeared in international beading publications and exhibitions, and she teaches students from around the globe through her highly regarded online classes.
Anna is known for combining bead embroidery with bead weaving, often incorporating handmade focal elements, distinctive color palettes, and carefully selected premium materials. Her projects are designed not only to teach techniques but also to inspire creativity and foster personal artistic expression.
Drawing inspiration from nature, mythology, history, and fine art, Anna describes her creative process as envisioning complete designs in her imagination and bringing them to life, bead by bead.
Since 2020, bead embroidery has been her full-time profession. She now dedicates herself to designing, teaching, and supporting the international beading community while raising her three sons in northern Hungary, where the surrounding forests, hills, and natural beauty continue to inspire her work. Timeless Treasure Live Virtual Zoom Workshop September 4, 2026, 11:00 AM-5:00 PM EST
Inspired by the romance of time travel, treasure hunting, and the irresistible charm of forgotten objects, Timeless Treasure is a richly detailed statement necklace that tells a story. Imagine discovering a collection of extraordinary relics—a vintage pocket watch, a mysterious key, a faded photograph, or an antique mechanical ornament—each carrying echoes of the past and secrets waiting to be uncovered.
With touches of steampunk elegance and the spirit of a wandering adventurer, this design combines luxurious bead embroidery, sparkling crystals, dimensional construction, and vintage-inspired details to create a necklace that feels as if it were assembled from treasures gathered on remarkable journeys through time.
Every element contributes to the narrative. Metallic accents evoke antique machinery and clockwork mechanisms, while crystals shimmer like hidden treasures waiting to be found. Layered textures create depth, intrigue, and movement, inviting the eye to discover something new each time the piece is worn.
As with all of Anna's workshops, this class goes beyond simply following instructions. Throughout the day, she will share not only the techniques needed to create the project, but also the design principles behind composition, focal placement, texture building, color harmony, and storytelling through jewelry. Students will gain valuable insight into the creative process while building confidence in their own artistic choices.
