Keeper of the Stars

Inspired by the song that was the first dance at my late sister and brother-in-law’s wedding, “The Keeper of the Stars,” this Art Deco-style necklace is a nod to the 1920s and the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.  I designed this piece to honor them and the love they shared. The song speaks of the blessings we receive from the universe that brings love into our lives which is represented by the sparkling arch embracing the custom-coated, pear-shaped German glass cabochon. The archway is embellished with precious metal-plated cupchain and 28 pearls representing the 28 days of the lunar calendar. Within the carved glass of the cabochon is a picture of a kaleidoscopic field of shooting stars encrusted with Swarovski crystals.
