Masterclasses are two or three-day immersive experiences where many techniques on a theme are explored. Full step-by-step patterns are given for a series of projects developing the theme. However, students are encouraged to push their own boundaries and explore the techniques. Discussions might include colour work, structure and more.  Masterclasses are designed for students to explore their own materials, but kits can be assembled if requested.

The colours of love

Take the Archimedean solids, a simple stitch technique and an easy system to understand colour, and the Colours of Love begins. Techniques are given for Triangle, Square, Pentagon and Hexagon shapes in a range of sizes, from which, a huge range of pieces can be created. From simple bracelet bands to complex three-dimensional forms. This class also takes inspiration from other crafts to explore the hows and whys of colour combinations.
