For years, I envisioned a piece of jewelry rooted in Native American influence and reimagined through a contemporary lens. I began collecting exceptional materials—oversized French vintage feather-shaped sequins, luminous vintage Japanese ivory acrylic cabochons, and vibrant Czech glass cabochons reminiscent of turquoise skies. They waited patiently for years, until the perfect focal element finally revealed itself.

That moment arrived last October in Wilmington, where I discovered hand-carved buffalo ivory wolf cabochons in a local shop. Each carving follows the natural curve of the ivory, making every wolf beautifully unique. From hundreds of pieces, I carefully selected just 60 exceptional cabochons to bring this design to life.
