The project uses a linear scrolled focal and repeated Fleur de Lys shapes that make reference to France. The pink & blue color way, which I call 'Macaroon', reminded me of the movie Marie Antoinette with all her dreamy candy-colored dresses. In fact, Italian costumer Milena Canonero's palette was inspired by a box of colorful macaroons given to her by Director Sofia Coppola. Inspiration comes in all guises. I hope you will be inspired to create with beads.
Techniques: Internal construction, brick stitch edge, peyote bezel, using a bracelet blank.
Skill Level: Intermediate.
