Pendants, Brooches, and Earrings

In this full-day class, students will start out drawing and shrinking several pieces of shrink plastic to go into their finished piece. We will be using alcohol inks, markers, and colored pencils as colorants. I will supply the shapes, molds, and heat guns as well as felt forms some beads and sequins, and pigments. If you want your own set of colored pencils and permanent markers, bring what you might have to increase your personal palette. In the second part of the day, we will be embellishing felt forms to include in our completed piece. I love embellishment as there are no rules or particular thread paths that need to be followed, I emphasize excellent craftsmanship and share tips and tricks throughout the day. If you already own wire cutters and pliers please bring them.

Mandatory kit to include: Shrinkets for these two projects, felt, pigments, tools, beads and sequins, thread, needles. Just bring your bead mat and any extra beads to complete your palette! 

Skill Level:  Intermediate

Prerequisites: Peyote stitch

Kit is mandatory and sold separately from the instructor.   $TBD

To attend this event, you will need either a desktop, laptop, or tablet along with the Zoom Application which can easily be downloaded for either Windows, Apple, or Android devices and a good internet connection.  After registering and paying for your class, you will be sent a link to the online class the week of the workshop.
