Heather Kingsley-Heath - Boheme

Description

Created in 2021 for the Japanese magazine ‘Bead Art and Embroidery’, the Boheme Chrysanthemum flower and leaf is too pretty not to share with a wider audience. Worked almost entirely in Albion Stitch the flower petals use graduated colors of seed beads to add depth and detail. The petals surround a 14mm Rivoli, with textured beadwork on the bezel.

The Boheme can be a pendant, a brooch, or a corsage, or add one to a cuff, hatband, or lapel pin.

Skill level: intermediate, to advanced,  confident with thread tension, and able to make thread path and direction changes.
