About the Event

Anishinaabe Pocket Necklace: Sunday November 3, 2024

The Anishinaabe are a group of several Native American tribes living in the Great Lakes region.  Their beautiful clothing inspires this pocket necklace.

We’ll create a beautiful flower design on ultra suede and double back it, creating a pocket that can hold credit cards or even lip/chapstick. The gorgeous gold fringe is removable. The rosary chain is faceted turquoise glass w/gold.

Stitches and techniques include, back stitch, brick stitch, and fringing techniques.

Registration includes a 4-hour workshop and a 2-hour finishing class the Friday after the workshop date - 11 am - 1 pm

Skill Level:  Intermediate

The kit is mandatory and sold separately by the instructor.   $133

Kits include everything except needles, thread, tools, and glue.
