Garden Folly Necklace

Garden Folly Necklace draws inspiration from the extravagant garden follies of 17th- and 18th-century England and France, where classical ruins and exotic architecture transformed landscapes into places of wonder. Echoing the romance of Greek and Roman temple ruins, this elegant necklace centers on a sparkling pendant composed of multiple bezel-set crystal flowers and decorative elements stitched with rhinestones, bicones, and accent beads. A dramatic, large crystal flower anchors the design, while the lacy, refined necklace strap recalls the delicate garden lattices that support climbing roses and vines.

In this class, students will learn to create small bezel-set crystal flowers, a larger statement flower, and coordinating sparkly components. Instruction will also cover constructing a graceful, lacy hubble-stitch necklace strap to complete this timeless and architectural design.
