Jayashree Paramesh's Garden Folly / June 6, 2026
Garden Folly Live Virtual Zoom Workshop June 6, 2026, 11:00 AM-5:00 PM EST
Inspired by classical garden follies and ancient temple ruins, the Garden Folly Necklace is an elegant design that blends romance with architectural beauty. Sparkling crystal flowers and a lacy, refined strap come together to create a piece that feels both timeless and enchanting.
Drawing from the elaborate garden follies of 17th- and 18th-century England and France—where classical ruins and exotic structures transformed landscapes into places of wonder—this necklace echoes the charm of Greek and Roman temple remains. At its center is a radiant pendant composed of multiple bezel-set crystal flowers, accented with rhinestones, bicones, and decorative beads. A dramatic focal bloom anchors the design, while the delicate, lacy strap evokes the graceful latticework that supports climbing roses and winding vines.
In this workshop, you’ll create shimmering bezel-set crystal flowers, including a larger statement bloom, along with coordinating sparkling elements. You’ll also learn to construct a graceful, lacy hubble-stitch strap that completes this beautifully detailed, architectural piece.
