Create a shimmering, sea-inspired jellyfish that brings coastal magic to your décor or jewelry collection. Inspired by glowing jellyfish seen at a seaside festival, this project combines intricate beadwork with mixed materials to achieve its ethereal look. Flowing strands and layered embellishments give the finished design a lifelike sense of motion, echoing the elegance of the sea.
In this immersive workshop, you’ll create a 4–4.5" jellyfish using a stunning mix of seed beads, crystals, sequins, and a real sea urchin shell. You’ll explore a modified version of the Ogalala weaving technique, enhanced with unique variations that create dimension, texture, and graceful movement.
While the original design features a soft pink palette, this technique can be easily adapted to a range of ocean-inspired colors such as blue, lilac, green, or white.

The Zoom application (available for Windows, Apple, or Android)
A reliable internet connection

Zoom access details will be emailed the week of the workshop after registration is complete.
Note: Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment. All payments are final and non-refundable, except in the event that SocialBeadia cancels the class, in which case a full refund will be issued.
If you are unable to attend for any reason, you may transfer your enrollment to another individual— provided you arrange the transfer and notify SocialBeadia in advance of the class. Should you choose not to transfer your seat, you will still receive all instructional materials included with your registration, along with the option to purchase a kit, subject to availability.
