Delicate, dimensional, and beautifully detailed, Floating Petals is an elegant jewelry set featuring a stunning 27mm crown stone surrounded by a graceful arrangement of sparkling crystals and petal-shaped beads.
In this workshop, Laura Embrey will guide you through creating a unique, sturdy bezel using unusual thread paths to beautifully frame the large crown stone. You’ll then explore an enjoyable circular and netted beadweaving technique to create the distinctive fan-like design that gives the piece its airy, floral appearance.
The set combines shimmering Preciosa rhinestones, Swarovski crystals, and delicate petal beads to create a sophisticated design with plenty of sparkle. Laura’s purple version also offers the opportunity to work with gorgeous limited-edition Swarovski colors.
